12 electrical

Each sink needs at least 1 Quad for each person’s “stuff.”

You want to have all plugged in simultaneously. No swapping.

Find other locations for Quads elsewhere too, .. near tables, inside closets. Move them high or low… certainly not all low to the floor.  Be creative where you want them.  You’ll never regret extra sockets… and again, in the construction stage, it is a minor expense.

ON/Off switches… make sure you can reach your shower lights and fans from inside the shower in case you forget to turn them on prior to getting wet.

If you put them on the wrong side of the door swing…  you will forever regret it.

Finally, make sure all the lights are on dimmers.

Plan your sconces…..a wall sconce saves counter space, and they are fun. Add multiple locations for on/off switches for the same lamp.

The main vanity sinks each have a medicine cabinet, not just a flat mirror. And if all is right in the world, the floor is heated, as well as the shower and shower seat….all with a switch, since the heat is not needed all the time.

Finally I love electricity….quad outlets everywhere….at least one next to each sink… nightlights, toothbrush, hair dryer, flashlights recharging things, Roomba’s, lamps, and other random things…all plugged in simultaneously. No swapping.  And of course lots of ceiling fans, with lights in both the shower and powder room.

Look into USB outlets, to recharge your things…

Storage…floor to ceiling shelves, 6 feet wide, and only a foot or so deep, for just everything.

I like quad electrical sockets next to each sink.  Dimmable lighting in ceiling, with 3-inch LED bulbs, not 5 inch.

Electricity:

USB ports:

When re\-doing this install USB C outlets to plug in charge your phone while showering or for other USB items ( echo dot, Alexa Show\-cover the camera). This cannot be done with single outlets. There is no manufacturer who makes single USB GFI plugs necessary in your toilet. You will need to do quads or sister outlets.

OUTLETS

in cabinets or in recessed shelving \- do this to plug in your toothbrushes and keep them off the counters.

This is part of working backwords….

You CANNOT do the bid, without knowing the specifics of your core WOOD colors inside…

What if you are sick of the generic white plug socket fixtures….and want them to be the same color as your paint…. you have to commit to your paint colors by the framing stage…since the plug sockets go in right after framing…

If you are not too worried about the color of sockets… you can still pick the cheap old fashioned internals… vs. the more expensive sleek internals… of course your contractor/sub will go with the generic old fashioned one…YOU DO NOT WANT.
