You adapt to your house. If there are no plug sockets, you have extortion cords. if there is no water pressure, you time your showers differently. If there is no quiet place to think, you go elsewhere. If you have no storage, you live cramped, or messy. The house does NOT adapt to you…..YOU are not the master…..IT is. Now reverse this. Design a house that will elevate you, give you a place to think, a place to gather, a place for storage… a place for everyone, even guests.. Rooms or floors you can shut down, or. open up. A house that has a elevator for when you are too old to walk up stairs, caring boxes, coffee, snacks, food… This is a house that adapts to you, not you to it.!
